Signpost

I never thought that divorce would feel like a destination, something to be achieved. After eight or nine long years its finally done. The judge signed the papers.

I wish my former spouse a happy life. Her adventures are well begun as she follows her heart working in Europe. We raised a beautiful daughter who is off on her own married and thriving. We had beautiful homes. We had many good times. We grew and learned to honor our own truths. We struggled to reconcile our lives with who we were as individuals. We weren't right together.
Bon Voyage.

How do I feel reaching this point, this destination? Empty, the crying is done. Moving on has long since started. Kind of like getting older. It's just a date, a marker, a point in time that while legally meaningful is personally meaningless. Life goes on. Possibilities infinite.

Namaste.

If not now, when? If not me, who?

If not now, when? If not me, who? Blessings to us all. Prayers for the families of the children of Newtown.

Reasonable dialogue needs to start in this country about what we can do as responsible citizens to prevent gun violence. Our votes need to be utilized. It is insane that rather than address the issue head on, we are talking about "gun violence drills" and installing gun scanners in our schools.

This is not our children's responsibility to deal with, anymore than rape is a woman's responsibility to prevent. We need to talk about mental health, conflict resolution, gun registration, control and training.

Humans are capable of horrendous acts of murder and violence with a myriad of weapons. Current and past history bears this out. We are also capable of stellar and infinitely compassionate acts of love. We have a choice. Nothing has ever been created in this world that wasn’t first a thought, an idea, or an intuition. I choose to love.

We must love each other as brothers and sisters. The culture of fear's time has past. It is time to give peace a chance. Love is the answer.

Namaste.

Peace

9-11 remains one of the most heart wrenching memories of my life.
Broken hearts - shattered lives - souls adrift. We took care of each other.
May we continue to offer our hearts and hands to each other as brothers and sisters.
Peace and love to you and yours. God bless.

The End of Fear

I woke from a dream, knowing that I was born in the presence of pure love. Clear that I was that presence. That I was, I am, at my core, pure love.
I am pure love. You are pure love.

We are pure love.

Though born knowing, I opened my eyes, saw my parents and decided that love was coming from them, not seeing it was a reflection....forgetting what I knew with certainty, a brief moment before.

Always

You are always on my mind and in my heart.
I feel like I am betraying myself letting go of you.
Yet I know you are already gone.

Memories deep and precious.
Warm and peaceful in your arms.
Now open for another.

When the honesty ended.
I saw the word stop.
And knew the truth.

My love flows deeper than my tears.
You will always be in that river.
Peace and Love and Joy.

FAR

Fantasy whispers
Waves beating
Hearts breathing

Adventure beckons
Mountains high
Rivers racing

Romance dances
Dreams embraced
In strong arms

Far off land
Calls persistent
Find it here

Fantasy dances
Adventure embraced
Romance whispers

Come home...

Just Hold Me

Long day behind
Welcome night
Words go quiet
Just hold me

Arms envelope
Back to front
Bottoms snuggle
Legs entwine

Hair so soft
Scent divine
Breath like music
Peace in time

Dreams beckon
Hands caress
Mind so still
Lips explore

Train horn blowing
Moon so bright
Listen to my touch
Just hold me

Far Away

So far away her presence gone
Desire and want linger on
Her lips and touch an earth away
My hand alone to touch today

Tomorrow is hers
While I live today
Time a joke
Distance real
And yet I know
What I feel

Sinewy body
Soft sweet skin
Warm and hot
Deep within

With my mind
I guide her hands
To take my place
Bringing pleasure
Through time
Through space

Her body stirs
Dreams explode
Fingers deep
Juices streaming
Is he here
Or am I dreaming

Tip - Toe

If ever I wake
Before you dear
I'd watch you sleep
Thinking you dear

My mind at peace
Thoughts sublime
Of love and caring
And endless time

My heart so still
Your breath hypnotic
I'll bet your glad
I'm not psychotic (yeah.... well you try and rhyme hypnotic!)

You are my angel
Sent from above
I thank God
It's you I love

Sleeper Car

Feeling her hand in mine, my heart filled with joy. Looking into her eyes I pulled her close and I whispered, "welcome home".  Traveling through time the way we have for so long, finding each other newly in each pass, re-igniting a love millenniums old never fails to amaze and delight me.  Depending on the learning, sometimes she recognizes me first and brings me home - the wonder and excitement of reconnecting with the love of our lives a key milestone in every pass.

Each pass is only the same in that we choose our individual course and know that we will leverage those learning's in our combined course.

None of this matters as I look in her eyes and pull her to my lips, drinking from her lips a nectar I never can get enough of.  While we always choose different bodies to play in, her nectar never changes.

"Where are we going," she asks, her eyes wide and wondering. "We'll find out together," I answer, not knowing.  The desire to know so strong and the need to experience paramount. If we knew, the pass would be unneeded, the learning always found in the experience and not the plan.

She folds in to my arms, her strong beautiful body, supple and warm. At least we got that right this time, the fit of our bodies perfect and comfortable.

"I've got a sleeper coach," I whisper, "I want you now."  She smiles at my urgency, no fear, but a distant recognition starting to glimmer in her eyes.. "Are you always so sure of yourself," she asks. "Only with you," I answer.  Her hand tightens in mine as she smiles, "I feel like I've known you forever".  Duh, I think in the parlance of the time, laughing as I drift at light speed through the span of our lives together.  "I want to know you forever,"  I answer and taking her hand lead her to our sleeper car.......
